Bello by Sandro Nardone, the eagerly anticipated restaurant by the namesake chef, is set to open Nov. 18 in Newport Beach.

The Italian-borne Nardone came to the United States in 2012 and founded a brick-oven pizzeria in Dana Point, but now desires to expose local diners to a far more varied menu. The restaurant aims for Italian authenticity in every detail, from the made-daily in-house pastas and intriguing entrees to sleek and modern interior decor created by, you guessed it, an Italian designer.
