If you want to eat seafood prepared by one of the best chefs in the world, you should visit Uliassi. It’s located on Italy’s eastern coast in the small town of Senigallia. The restaurant has 3 MIchelin stars but you could not tell from the outside. It is a small triangle-shaped building that is right on the beach. The interior is elegant but not formal and definitely Italian cool.
There is definitely an emphasis on fish with both modern and classic dishes. But even though the restaurant is on the ocean, they are near enough to the interior that they get very good game and have an entirely game menu.
The chef, Mauro Uliassi,definitely worked his way to the top. He’s been running the restaurant since 1990 with his sister. When you meet them, you are so happy for them that they finally got their third star.
